Trimark's History
Trimark Physicians Group was founded in 1989 as Physician Practice Management Corporation (PPMC), a solely–owned, for-profit subsidiary of Trinity Health Systems. In 1997, it acquired the Fort Dodge Medical Center, a multi-specialty group. In 1998, PPMC changed its name to Trimark Physicians Group to reflect more accurately its development into a group practice.
Trimark employs 57 physicians and 16 mid-level practitioners and 300+ employees. With strong physician driven leadership, Trimark continues to grow and develop with the goal of becoming a totally integrated delivery system. Trimark's vision is to provide state-of-the-art, high-quality and cost-efficient health care services to all citizens in northwest-central Iowa. In the delivery of compassionate medical services, Trimark is committed to meeting the health needs of its patients by providing convenient, high quality medical care with a focus on continuous quality improvement, customer service and patient satisfaction.
